Fishing is the main activity on Peckerwood Lake. Sport fish in the lake include crappie, catfish, largemouth bass, and bream. There are two access areas for those wishing to launch a boat on the lake. Herman's Landing is on the south side, and Red Barn Landing is located on the north side of the lake.
